Overview

MongoDB is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with advanced software engineering skills and experience in code modernization & building tools that can traverse code structures programmatically. You will be pivotal in a product engineering group dedicated to helping users navigate code conversion challenges with AI's support.

Requirements

• 7+ years in building large scale enterprise applications preferably in Java.
• Experience with Relational Databases such as Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with tools and methodologies for code analysis, refactoring, and automated testing.
• Understanding of Generative AI concepts and tools.
• Experience across the Python stack.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Strong interest in AI-supported toolchains.
• Ability to juggle coding and management tasks.
• Passion for mentoring and teaching.
