Director of Identity & Security Product Management - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Identity and Security Product Management to lead our Identity and Security Product Management team. This person will define and drive the execution of our product strategy for crucial functions across IAM and security, with a portfolio spanning authorization, authentication, Queryable Encryption, security hardening, and more. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders at every level of the organization, including executive leadership and cross-functional teams across multiple business units.

In Short

• Lead the Identity & Security Product Management team responsible for delivering Identity and Access Management, Queryable Encryption, and other customer-facing security features within the MongoDB platform.
• Drive highly regulated customer platform security and compliance requirements into MongoDB products.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Customer Support, Marketing, Sales, and Executive Leadership Team.
• Develop and maintain an accurate and up-to-date roadmap in partnership with Engineering counterparts.
• Define security go-to-market strategies and plan programs to execute against those strategies.
• Drive decision-making around prioritization, solutions, functionality, and pricing.
• Transform traditional data center security measures into industry-adopted cloud technologies.
• Deeply understand all aspects of MongoDB to ensure alignment with broader product and company priorities.
• Comfortable speaking with authority on technical aspects of portfolio topics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing teams with demonstrated leadership skills.
• 10+ years of Product and/or Engineering Security experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience or Expertise in security certifications and cloud service providers.
• Strong subject matter expertise in IT security and risk management.
• Experience with cloud-native products and microservice topologies.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and proactively address challenges.
• Strong technical acumen and ability to partner effectively with engineering.
