• Develop and enhance our flagship Video, Audio, Automotive and Sports metadata software solutions.
• Design applications with a Platform-first mentality where scale, consistency and reliability are at the core of every decision.
• Lead the designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Experience in designing, developing and scaling enterprise-grade applications.
• Proficiency in SQL / NoSQL database administration.
• In-depth knowledge of Kafka concepts.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies is a plus.
• Working knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
