Overview

Our public sector SLED sales team is growing rapidly, and we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a background in state and local government and education sales to lead and grow a high-performing team focused on driving success in these critical markets.

In Short

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a diverse sales team focused on the government, education, and public sector markets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed performance targets, focusing on ARR growth, pipeline development, and client acquisition.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and legal teams.
  • Drive adoption of monday.com’s platform in public sector markets.
  • Lead contract negotiations and compliance discussions.
  • Identify and prioritize key opportunities for sales processes.
  • Deliver on team performance metrics and forecast accuracy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales management experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or public sector sales.
  • 5+ years of experience in state and local government and education sales.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A self-starter who is result-oriented and adaptable.
  • BA and/or MBA preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.
