Devops Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer you will be primarily responsible for automating infrastructure configurations utilizing best practices for provisioning, monitoring and managing our client production environments on Amazon's AWS platform.

In Short

• Engineer and automate infrastructure and configuration management tasks.
• Interface with other departments during project implementations.
• Resolve and repair critical infrastructure and application issues.
• Ensure the uptime of our cloud infrastructure is in accordance with our SLA.
• Work in an agile environment where features and projects are completed in defined sprints.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of work experience in infrastructure management.
• Expert in Linux administration.
• Practical hands-on experience with core AWS services.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience monitoring complex infrastructures.
• Experience with development build environments and tools.
• Experience with Java, PHP, Ruby, Apache and Tomcat/TomEE.
• Hands-on experience with Bash, Python, Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS services is a bonus.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
