DevOps Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Define Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Manage cloud and/or on-premises infrastructure.
• Monitor and create metrics/alerts.
• Analyze failure points, scalability models, platform resilience, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of full stack developers, UX designers, QA, functional analysts, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience with process automation and software build support.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, Groovy, Go, etc.
• Familiarity with hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Circle CI, etc.
• Knowledge of modern project toolchains like Gradle, SBT, Grunt, Gulp, npm, Maven, etc.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Cloudformation, Terragrunt, etc.
• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, OpenShift, Mesosphere DC/OS, etc.
• Proficiency with container platforms (OCI, Docker, etc).
• Familiarity with code repositories like GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.
• Experience with Web servers & API Gateways like Nginx, Apache, Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway.
