Billing Specialist - Remote

Overview

Modern Campus is looking for a skilled Billing Specialist, responsible for providing a full range of support to the billing team, including contract review, invoicing, cash receipts posting, collections, and bank deposits.

In Short

• Create invoices in accordance to contracts and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions.
• Review past-due amounts and contact customers for payment.
• Answer questions from customers related to invoices.
• Prepare internal status reports as requested.
• Maintain clean customer records in the accounting system.
• Assist with month-end close procedures.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable, billings, and collections.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Intacct and Salesforce is an asset.
• Detail-oriented and organized with high accuracy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Deadline-driven with strong project management skills.
