Mirantis is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide global world-class technical support for Mirantis Container Cloud and OpenStack technologies, working to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.

  • Provide technical support for Mirantis Container Cloud and OpenStack technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenStack and Container Cloud.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction through effective communication and support.
  • Engage with engineering teams to address technical problems.
  • Create and update knowledge management content.
  • Work with ticketing systems to manage customer interactions.
  • Learn and utilize monitoring tools for system performance.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance customer service.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; four-year college degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering or system administration.
  • Knowledge of Linux, Ubuntu, KVM, XEN, CentOS, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack.
  • Understanding of Python and network protocols.
  • Experience troubleshooting remote Linux systems and network issues.
  • Familiarity with Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SLES).
  • Customer service-focused mindset.
  • Fluent in English.
