Overview

The Medical Assistant will provide care in a medical practice office or clinic under the direction of a provider, maintaining a clean and safe environment while assisting patients and providing information.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of Medical Assistant experience.
  • Completion of an accredited medical assisting program may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Proficiency in EMR navigation.
  • Ability to act quickly in emergencies.
  • Completion of competency assessments.
  • Licenses in Basic Life Support and Medical Assisting.
  • Physical ability to perform required tasks.
