Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant (MA) to support our clinic operations and provide exceptional patient care. This position is essential for maintaining the seamless operation of our healthcare team and delivering high-quality care to our diverse patient population, with a focus on supporting our Spanish-speaking patients through effective communication and care.

In Short

• Conduct patient interviews and measure vital signs.
• Record patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Draw and collect blood samples.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Set up treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Manage administrative tasks such as patient registration and scheduling appointments.
• Assist providers with patient care and procedures.
• Provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations.
• Exhibit professionalism and maintain positive relationships with patients and staff.
• Engage in continuing education opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certified Medical Assistant in the state of AR.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred.
• Phlebotomy skills are a plus.
