Medical Assistant - Remote

Overview

Sentara Medical Group is currently hiring a Medical Assistant to perform patient care and administrative tasks under the supervision of healthcare professionals.

In Short

• Position requires flexibility and travel in Southside and Peninsula, VA.
• Standard working hours are Monday - Friday, with 8hr, 10hr, or 12hr shifts.
• Perform patient care and clerical tasks based on training and supervision.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic certification is required.
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of clinical or administrative experience is preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
