Overview

The Inside Sales Lead is responsible for lead generation, nurturing, qualification, and origination of qualified opportunities in the Merkle sales pipeline. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can operate independently to help lead sales efforts.

In Short

  • Meet sales quota goals of generating new qualified opportunities.
  • Develop and execute high-volume lead generation campaigns.
  • Qualify opportunities and align prospect needs to Merkle’s capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Growth Officers and Enterprise Sales Leaders.
  • Drive prospect and client engagements in support of Merkle’s thought leadership.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in Salesforce processes.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers in enterprise organizations.
  • Analyze customer business goals and apply sales principles.
  • Establish trusted relationships with senior executive buyers.
  • Maintain a high-quality pipeline aligned with the sales process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • 5 years of consultative sales experience in marketing technology.
  • Experience originating and qualifying complex sales opportunities.
  • Knowledge of database marketing and agency marketplace.
  • Ability to propose solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Strong ability to prospect and nurture relationships.
  • History of success in individual and team environments.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong collaboration capabilities.
  • Deep general business knowledge and acumen.
