Overview

The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing and developing engaging learning experiences for employees across the organization, focusing on instructional design and Learning Management System (LMS) administration to support employee development and career growth initiatives.

In Short

  • Conduct needs analysis to identify learning objectives and training design.
  • Develop storyboards, scripts, and prototypes for computer-based learning content.
  • Design instructional materials including instructor-led training and assessments.
  • Apply adult learning principles to create effective learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy.
  • Perform quality assurance on learning materials.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Manage courses in Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Support LMS upgrades and configurations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline.
  • Strong understanding of SCORM and xAPI standards.
  • Experience with LMS administration and course setup.
  • Knowledge of instructional design models like ADDIE and SAM.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
