Overview

Meridian Knowledge Solutions is seeking a Director of Sales to drive sales of our learning management SaaS solution to state and local governments and private industry.

In Short

  • Close mid-market and enterprise deals with public sector and commercial customers.
  • Build and grow a strong sales pipeline.
  • Participate in conferences to promote Meridian’s solutions.
  • Design and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Lead proposal development efforts.
  • Own the full sales cycle from outreach to close.
  • Maintain and communicate pipeline health.
  • Create and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Consistently achieve assigned sales targets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in SaaS sales to state and local government.
  • 10+ years overall sales experience.
  • Experience in selling learning technologies preferred.
  • Proven success managing a matrixed opportunity team.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • In-depth knowledge of public sector contracting.
  • Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $125,000 to $165,000 per year.
  • OTE of $250,000+ depending on experience.
