Overview

The Director of Fundraising Data is a strategic leader and technical project manager who understands how data, systems, and analytics intersect to drive successful, donor-centered fundraising.

In Short

• Lead the strategic and technical execution of the CRM transition to Raiser’s Edge NXT.
• Ensure RE Database View remains optimized for DevOps gift processing.
• Translate fundraising strategies and user needs into intuitive, functional system design.
• Guide user onboarding, training, and adoption strategies.
• Coordinate with IT, vendors, and internal stakeholders for implementation.
• Identify automation and process improvements.
• Deepen fundraising data architecture and ensure CRM reflects activities accurately.
• Build and implement a reporting strategy for data-driven decisions.
• Act as the key bridge between Mercy Corps Global and Mercy Corps Europe.
• Ensure compliance with data protection standards.

Requirements

• BA/S in computer or applied sciences, or related field.
• 6+ years experience in data management, systems, reporting, and/or analysis.
• Experience hiring, training, developing, and supervising team members.
• Experience managing large CRMs and overseeing a database migration.
• Critical thinking skills and experience proposing solutions.
• Customer service orientation including communication skills.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
