Position Summary:Under general supervision, the primary job function of the Support Specialist II is to provide phone support as well as performing routine but varied clerical and support duties according to standard procedures. 

In Short

  • Provide phone support and clerical assistance.
  • Type and transcribe business correspondence and reports.
  • Direct contact with customers for information gathering.
  • Process forms and documents.
  • Transfer calls to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain positive customer interactions.
  • Engage in active listening to clarify customer concerns.
  • Manage inbound calls in a timely manner.
  • Proofread and edit routine forms and reports.
  • Work under general supervision to complete assignments.

Requirements

  • High school education completion.
  • Minimum of 1 year general office or related experience.
  • Proficient typing skills required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • General knowledge of department procedures.
  • Ability to explain company policies and procedures.
  • Capability to manage customer inquiries effectively.
  • Experience in maintaining records and processing assignments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Positive and professional demeanor towards customers.
