Technical Marketing Engineer - Remote

Overview

Menlo Security is looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer to support our Product vision as we scale. This role will be part of the Product Management team, and will work with product, sales, marketing, and engineering teams to field enable product demos, technical marketing content, competitive analysis, and more.

In Short

• Create technical product content (videos, podcasts, presentations, white papers, guides, documentation, videos) that highlight the Menlo value proposition.
• Connect customer needs and tech trends to Menlo’s products for technical product positioning.
• Build technical documentation for customers and assist with technical RFPs.
• Build a lab for competitive analysis and developing demos.
• Train the field on technical features and competitive landscape.
• Publish technical content to drive thought leadership and support field events.
• Maintain knowledge of cybersecurity industry trends and technologies.
• Support successful enablement of the customer-facing organization.
• Generate leads through engaging technical content.
• Boost social media engagement on technical content.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security technical product marketing, product management, or sales engineering.
• Bachelor's degree ideal, but not required.
• Expertise in understanding customers and developing content.
• Analytical mindset to understand and simplify complex concepts.
• Deep insight into the contemporary threat landscape.
• Knowledge of web technologies and cloud computing.
• Technical knowledge of networking, cloud deployments, and web security.
• Strong communication skills.
