Senior Technical Marketing Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer (1-year contract) to start immediately as part of our Marketing Tech Team in Berlin.

The mission of the MarTech team at Babbel is to maintain and improve the Babbel marketing tech stack, enable all marketing teams to integrate to partners solutions, launch, manage and optimize campaigns efficiently, while ensuring data fidelity & compliance and making the bridge across offices and departments to allow more streamlined communication and synergies.

In Short

• Be an active member of the cross-functional MarTech team.
• Work closely with Marketing teams and partners on understanding technical requirements.
• Serve as an interface between Marketing, Partners/Publishers, and Software Engineers.
• Own tech implementations on client-side and partner platforms.
• Support and educate Marketing teams on the marketing tech stack.
• Configure and validate tracking in compliance with data protection regulations.
• Contribute to report interpretation to find optimization opportunities.
• Define practices to enable automation of workflows.
• Assist in implementation of new tracking tools and processes.
• Optionally learn and contribute to server-side implementation.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in developing tracking solutions for Websites and Apps.
• In-depth knowledge of client-side and server-side tracking with Tag Management Systems.
• 2+ years experience in a customer/partner-facing role.
• Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adjust.
• Experience with Consent & Privacy Management systems.
• A good understanding of Marketing and online user behavior analysis.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in troubleshooting campaign performance.
• Proficiency around HTTP, cookie and sessions management.
• Basic knowledge in SQL and JavaScript.
