Overview

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer (all genders) to join our Babbel Navigator Team!

In Short

  • Deliver high-quality, scalable mobile apps.
  • Be part of a user-focused team building end-to-end learning experiences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on UX and API design.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing culture: code reviews, pair programming, etc.
  • Maintain and improve the Android app technology stack.

Requirements

  • Experience developing Android apps using Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack libraries.
  • Knowledge of design patterns like MVVM and MVI.
  • Experience with Coroutines/Flows and RxJava/RxKotlin.
  • Ability to maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise with AI tooling and infrastructure.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience in high-quality software delivery processes.
  • Desire to learn and share knowledge.
  • Experience mentoring other engineers.
