Overview

The Strategic Pricing Analyst position monitors contract performance, analyzes pharmacy claims data, delivers financial reconciliations, and develops pricing models to optimize financial outcomes while collaborating across departments to provide actionable insights and solutions.

In Short

  • Review and monitor client and pharmacy contracts and financial performance.
  • Prepare and deliver client financial guarantee reconciliations.
  • Analyze pharmacy claims data for trends and outliers.
  • Collaborate on MAC appeals process weekly.
  • Develop reports for discount card line-of-business.
  • Design pricing models to meet financial targets.
  • Execute MAC maintenance tasks and audits.
  • Expand SQL data environment for evolving business needs.
  • Conduct timely ad hoc analyses for stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in PBM or pharmacy pricing roles.
  • Experience with data mining and financial modeling.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools.
  • Experience in creating automation programs.
  • Strong problem-solving and financial acumen.
  • Strategic and proactive thinking.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong work ethic and energy.
