Overview

The Student Operations Virtual Assistant is a key member of the Bold.org support team, responsible for managing student inquiries efficiently and empathetically.

In Short

• Monitor and manage the student-facing Intercom inbox.
• Triage and tag incoming support requests.
• Draft and send replies in Bold.org’s voice.
• Escalate complex tickets to the appropriate team.
• Maintain and improve Intercom macros.
• Use Google Sheets for logging student issues.
• Create and update internal documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams for donor operations.
• Provide input on process improvements.
• Work in a fully remote environment with a proactive mindset.

Requirements

• 2+ years of customer support or operations experience.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Experience using Intercom or similar platforms.
• Comfortable with Google Sheets and Slack.
• Proactive mindset with good judgment.
• Familiarity with fintech tools or education platforms is a plus.
