Overview

The Operations Assistant supports the clinic and department in an administrative capacity, performing various clerical duties and assisting in patient care communication.

In Short

  • Supports clinic, department, or program in an administrative capacity.
  • Greets patients or visitors and manages telephone calls.
  • Performs general clerical duties including filing and distributing mail.
  • Assists with programs/software for Providers.
  • Maintains patient charts and records.
  • Orders office supplies and maintains office inventory.
  • Ensures office equipment is in working order.
  • Communicates with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Performs other assigned duties as needed.
  • Works day shift in a remote capacity.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • One year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to lift/carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs frequently.
  • Frequent use of vision and hearing for communication.
  • Frequent keyboard use and data entry skills.
  • Good communication skills for patient interaction.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with office equipment.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment.
  • Flexibility to perform various physical tasks.
