Overview

The Sales Engineer for Tyler Union will represent the company in the West region, focusing on building relationships with engineers and utility communities to enhance market perception and customer loyalty.

In Short

  • Support the sales team and call on top utilities/municipalities.
  • Promote the use of Tyler Union products.
  • Maintain relationships with engineers and specifying officials.
  • Attend industry meetings and conferences.
  • Provide technical training and support.
  • Travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Participate in sales training programs.
  • Maintain CRM records of contacts and activities.
  • Submit weekly expense reports.
  • Engage in prospecting and customer lead development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of experience in the utility or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of Water and Wastewater Systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
  • Previous sales experience in a spec-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
