Overview

The Senior Executive Compensation Consultant at McKesson will lead and contribute to complex compensation projects and manage ongoing executive compensation initiatives, providing support for the enterprise executive population.

In Short

• Lead preparation of materials for the Board’s Compensation and Talent Committee.
• Conduct competitive peer benchmarking analysis for executive compensation.
• Prepare executive compensation sections of the annual proxy statement.
• Develop compensation recommendations for executive-level moves.
• Provide oversight on short-term and long-term incentive plans.
• Engage with legal counsel and independent consultants on compensation matters.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate data-driven insights effectively to senior leaders.
• Support Mergers & Acquisitions HR activities as needed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in compensation or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive executive compensation experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high-quality work under pressure.
• Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including macro development.
• Experience with data automation and visualization tools preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Education: 4-year degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Certifications: CCP or CECP preferred.
