Overview

The Senior Compensation Specialist provides guidance to HR business partners and hospital management in the interpretation and administration of complex compensation programs and policies, ensuring alignment with market competitiveness and internal equity.

In Short

  • Fixed term position for 24 months.
  • Conducts job audits to evaluate organizational structure and pay ranges.
  • Develops analysis and recommendations for compensation programs.
  • Resolves complex compensation issues related to wage and salary administration.
  • Leads projects for new systems or compensation program re-engineering.
  • Plans and implements annual compensation programs.
  • Consults with management on compensation policies and legal requirements.
  • Prepares reports and presentations on compensation activities.
  • Writes and modifies job descriptions based on audits.
  • Maintains confidentiality and complies with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Four years of related work experience.
  • Ability to conduct analysis and make sound decisions.
  • Experience in designing programs and leading improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build consensus.
  • Knowledge of compensation principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines independently.
  • Experience in HR functions and employee relations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
