Material Bank is seeking a Director of Material Catalog to lead the strategy and development of the world’s most comprehensive material catalog for the A&D industry. This person will shape how designers worldwide discover, evaluate, and specify materials.

• Lead the strategy and development of a material catalog.
• Oversee catalog structure, data mapping, and content quality.
• Establish taxonomy and governance framework.
• Guide expansion of the catalog using AI and machine learning.

• Gather user insights for refining taxonomy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in material-related roles.
• Deep knowledge of material categories and sustainability.
• Hands-on experience with complex databases.
• Strong grasp of emerging technologies including AI.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high quality standards.
