Overview

The OEM Account Executive is a senior-level individual contributor role that demands strategic acumen, strong interpersonal skills, energy, and a results-driven mindset. This role focuses primarily on acquiring new customers and integrating MariaDB into OEM solutions/products.

In Short

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive OEM sales plan.
  • Actively prospect and engage with OEM/MSP target accounts.
  • Effectively navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Establish and maintain key relationships across assigned accounts.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineer or Solution Architect.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity and activity tracking in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with the customer success team.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of demonstrable success in selling SaaS solutions.
  • Experience selling to Technology Platform Providers and Global ISVs.
  • Expertise in managing the entire sales cycle.
  • Skilled in negotiating multi-year contracts.
  • A consistent track record of meeting sales quotas.
  • Sales Methodology training and experience with SaaS technology.
  • Polished and poised with executive presence.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience with Open Source software is a plus.
