Application Scientist, Technical Design (gRNA CDMO Services) - Remote

Overview

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking an Application Scientist, Technical Design to join our technical design team. This role involves providing custom solutions based on client needs to help grow our gRNA services business.

In Short

• Partner with Business Development and Sales teams to improve customer journey.
• Provide technical support during pre-sale activities.
• Represent the company at conferences and seminars.
• Manage technical escalations and support cases.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams.
• Stay informed on technological advances in RNA health.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biological field with at least 4 years of technical experience.
• Preferred lab experiences in R&D, Process Development, GMP manufacturing, and/or QC.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to communicate scientifically.
• Proven track record working with Business Development, Marketing, and Sales.
• Advanced understanding of molecular biology and mRNA/nucleic acid therapeutic applications.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 30% including visits to company headquarters.
