Senior SOX Compliance Analyst - Remote

Overview

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Finance and Accounting team as a Senior SOX Compliance Analyst. You will be responsible for assisting with risk assessments, control design, and collaborating with control owners to address issues raised by auditors.

In Short

• Participate in annual and ongoing SOX scoping.
• Collaborate with control owners and auditors to design new controls.
• Engage with control owners to assess and address issues.
• Maintain and update the risk and control matrix in AuditBoard.
• Support process and control walkthroughs and testing.
• Build rapport with individuals at all levels.
• Perform other functions and duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent education required.
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting and public company experience.
• Strong SOX compliance experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of financial reporting risk identification.
• CPA and/or CIA preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX.
• Experience with NetSuite and AuditBoard preferred.
