Senior Compliance Analyst - Remote

Overview

Hometap is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join our growing Compliance team. You will be responsible for conducting material reviews to ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal company requirements, and perform periodic testing to further ensure Hometap’s products and processes meet regulatory and legal requirements. You’ll act as a business partner to stakeholders across the organization, and contribute to the continued development of Hometap’s compliance program. In Short

• Partner with business teams to provide advice on existing policies, procedures, and training
• Participate in the completion of risk assessments, including conducting remediation validation testing
• Complete monitoring and compliance testing activities according to a quarterly schedule
• Maintain current working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations
• Provide expert regulatory advice regarding compliance program elements
• Assist in maintenance of a Third Party Risk Management program
• Conduct reviews of marketing materials for adherence to regulatory requirements
• Develop and deliver compliance training and communication programs for employees

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in compliance in a financial institution setting
• Working knowledge of laws and regulations governing marketing and solicitations
• Familiarity with real estate, lending, mortgage, and related industries
• Proven ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization
• Experience developing and delivering compliance training
• Demonstrated conceptual thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a continuously changing environment
• Exemplary personal and professional integrity and business ethics
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
