Overview

The Field Application Scientist will play a crucial role in supporting field sales of scientific instruments, driving top-line growth through technical expertise and customer engagement.

• Assist the Americas field organization in meeting sales goals.
• Prospect and perform technical discovery for new business.
• Understand customer applications and recommend solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and run samples.
• Identify unique product strengths.
• Perform product installations and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Act as the customer voice to influence product direction.
• Assess new applications and develop methods for Picarro systems.
• Participate in conferences and trade shows.
• Document work in CRM and collaborate with the team.

Requirements

• B.S. in Earth or Geosciences; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred.
• Hands-on experience with laser optical instruments.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Preference for Spanish-speaking candidates.
• Up to 50% domestic and international travel.
• Remote position near a major US airport.
