Field Application Scientist - Remote

Overview

Sony Biotechnology is looking for a Field Application Scientist (FAS) to provide high-level pre-sale and post-sale support to customers on all Sony Biotechnology instruments.

In Short

• Provide pre- and post-sales support for company products.
• Coordinate and perform product demonstrations and training.
• Conduct seminars and represent the company at meetings.
• Utilize Salesforce.com for customer information management.
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities.
• Up to 50% travel may be required.
• Must have a B.Sc. degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with flow cytometry.
• Prior experience with Sony products is preferred.
• Strong desire to learn new technologies.

Requirements

• B.Sc. degree or higher in Biology, Immunology or related life science discipline.
• 5 years’ experience with multi-laser and multicolor flow cytometry.
• Experience in spectral flow cytometry is desired.
• Prior core lab or FAS experience is preferred.
• Experienced MS Office user.
• Prior experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
• Ability to manage time and activities effectively.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Occasional international travel may be required.
• Honesty and ethical conduct are essential.
