Overview

The Country Launcher will lead Luo's expansion across Africa by identifying new market opportunities, setting up local infrastructure, and driving initial sales.

In Short

• Conduct market research to identify countries for expansion.
• Define local regulatory and financial requirements.
• Build a launch playbook for new markets.
• Travel to target countries to activate new markets.
• Establish relationships with local payment partners and banks.
• Drive initial B2B sales to validate the product.
• Adapt go-to-market strategy based on local feedback.
• Recruit a Country Manager post-launch.
• Transfer knowledge to the local team.
• Work closely with the founders.

Requirements

• Strong track record in business development or operations.
• Comfortable in unstructured environments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Passion for Africa and willingness to travel.
• Background in business or finance; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French.
