Overview

The Wholesale Underwriting Manager will lead and manage a team of underwriters, providing credit decisions and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Underwriting Management.
• Experience in underwriting mortgage transactions.
• Knowledge of the Wholesale mortgage business channel.
• Extensive knowledge of FHA HECM and Proprietary loan programs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to coach and mentor team members.
• Strong analytical and customer service skills.
• Ability to collaborate on complex transactions.
