In Short

• Partner closely with the Product team and other key stakeholders to implement new features and services.
• Lead engineering projects from design to implementation and into ongoing operation.
• Coach, mentor, grow, and support your direct reports.
• Work with other Engineering leaders to support and grow the culture of the engineering team.
• Own the performance and outcomes of your team, shipping high quality products and features.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing high performing software engineering teams in a fast-paced, SaaS startup environment.
• Full-stack experience in a modern technology stack.
• A “move fast, take action” mentality.
• Experience leading teams on technical projects.
• Knowledge of at least one mainstream programming language, primarily Node.js and Go.
• Experience with modern practices related to testing, QA, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and service ownership.
• Ownership of mission critical services, and working with teams responsible for on-call rotations.
• Great communication skills.
