Senior Field Service Engineer - Agilent LCMS - Remote

Overview

The Senior Field Service Engineer will be responsible for performing on-site repairs and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation, providing technical support, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

In Short

• Perform on-site repairs and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.
• Provide technical support via phone and email to clients.
• Coordinate with manager to escalate service calls if a customer remains down for more than 8 hours.
• Monitor and analyze preventive maintenance and service metrics.
• Assist in scheduling and performing new product installations and training.
• Interpret and troubleshoot using component block diagrams and schematics.
• Conduct preventive maintenance for both contract and non-contract clients.
• Ensure all service activities are documented in compliance with Quality System standards.
• Complete administrative duties including travel planning and expense reporting.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial/clinical laboratory experience.
• Experience with Agilent LC/MS, MS, and HPLC/UPLC required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to provide technical support and training to customers.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
