Overview

Lindblad Expeditions is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the Mid-Atlantic region, responsible for sales and marketing initiatives to develop and maintain travel advisor relationships to drive revenue.

In Short

  • Responsible for creating a strategic sales plan for the region.
  • Grow profitable sales through new and existing accounts.
  • Develop engagement with existing accounts through training and communication.
  • Leverage Salesforce for client relationship management.
  • Identify new accounts and opportunities.
  • Conduct regular in-person sales calls within the territory.
  • Analyze and report sales performance to management.
  • Conduct product training and sales presentations.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and events.
  • Manage a regional budget for marketing and events.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Expedition travel.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the travel industry.
  • Strong relationships with US Retail Agencies and Tour Operators.
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable industry experience.
  • Creative and solution-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% and work remotely.
  • Must be based in the assigned territory.
