Software Engineer - Remote

• We’re looking to grow Lightyear’s software engineering team.
• You will work directly with the CTO and VP of Product.
• Build core components of Lightyear’s IT automation software.
• Help design a robust set of engineering standards.
• Work with a tech stack that includes React, Django, and AWS.
• Full-time, salaried position with competitive compensation.
• Salary based on experience, ranging from $120,000 to $180,000.
• Responsibilities include designing software components and maintaining code quality.
• Requirements include 2+ years of experience and proficiency in JavaScript and Python.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with JavaScript and modern UI frameworks (React preferred).
• Proficiency in server-side code (Python and Django Rest preferred).
• Familiarity with SQL/Postgres, Docker, and AWS integration.
• Exposure to architecture design of large web applications.
• Automated testing design and implementation experience.
