Research Operations Case Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Research Operations Case Coordinator (ROCC) supports the successful fulfillment of research projects by conducting timely and accurate screenings and logistics management of each donated gift. This role provides guidance and operational support to recovery team members and program managers for research, contributing directly to life-changing outcomes.

In Short

• Conduct timely and accurate screenings of organ and tissue referrals.
• Manage logistics and shipping of recovered organs and tissues.
• Accurately input research donor referrals into electronic systems.
• Complete documentation and share necessary medical records.
• Participate in administrative on-call duties.
• Collaborate with donor center and tissue recovery personnel.
• Maintain processes and operational tactics for research projects.
• Build and sustain partnerships across organizational boundaries.
• Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem resolution skills.
• Utilize Microsoft Office for various tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of experience in EMT, hospital corpsman, ER or ICU tech, or equivalent healthcare field.
• Associate’s degree in Allied Health or related medical field preferred.
• Experience in tissue banking or organ procurement preferred.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
