Overview

The Donation Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the mission of LifeNet Health by providing grief support to potential donor families and advocating for donation.

In Short

• Provide grief support and advocate for donation through phone calls.
• Initiate contact with legal next of kin according to UAGA hierarchy.
• Process referrals from multiple sources with a focus on quality client service.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners on donation opportunities.
• Assess and triage incoming calls and communications.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain electronic medical record access to hospitals.
• Utilize effective communication with stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
• Work variable hours including weekends and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or Associate’s Degree in relevant fields.
• Experience working with families in crisis, counseling, or donation environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate critical thinking.
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in supportive services preferred.
• Ability to navigate technology and online platforms.

• Ability to work in a remote environment.
