The Donation Coordinator functions as a valued member of the Donor Center Team, providing accurate, efficient, and timely donor referral and screening services.

In Short

• Accurately identifies and processes all potential organ, tissue, and eye referrals.
• Works empathetically with families in crisis.
• Evaluates information for preliminary donor eligibility.
• Follows communication protocols with stakeholders.
• Arranges transportation of approved donor tissues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years' work experience in EMT, hospital corpsman, or related fields.
• Donor Center Approach Training within 1 year of employment.
