Overview

The Opportunity Manager role partners with sales, and other relevant teams to protect their market-facing time by providing a highly effective proposal and bid support function.

In Short

  • Support sales teams by preparing competitive proposals and RFIs/RFPs.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of proposal development.
  • Coordinate and write content for response documents.
  • Support presentation phases through pitch deck preparation and coaching.
  • Utilize global bid processes and promote best practices.
  • Track results of supported opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to the creation of sales resources.
  • Maintain the content library.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Work independently in a client-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in bid or proposal management.
  • Minimum 5 years of overall business experience in professional services.
  • Track record of winning in relevant bidding environments.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Experience using PowerPoint for proposals and sales documents.
  • Strong time and priority management skills.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data effectively.
  • Ability to juggle multiple bids across time zones.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Residence in the UK and valid work permit required.
