Overview

The NGS Market Development Manager will play a key role in accelerating the growth and adoption of LGC’s AmpSeq™ Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) solutions across EMEA.

In Short

  • Drive the conversion of pilot projects into commercial agreements.
  • Expand AmpSeq adoption within existing PCR genotyping customer base.
  • Identify and engage new target accounts in agricultural genomics.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive offerings.
  • Support technical discussions and project scoping.
  • Maintain tracking of leads using CRM tools like Salesforce.com.
  • Provide sales and pipeline updates for forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and events.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 quality management system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences; Ph.D. preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in sales and major account management.
  • 3 years of experience in the life sciences industry.
  • Familiarity with sequencing or targeted NGS technologies.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel up to 50%.
  • Additional language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, or French) are a plus.
