Finance Manager - Remote

Overview

The Finance Manager will own the day-to-day and strategic finance function for our growing business, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and insightful reporting for leadership.

In Short

• Oversee bookkeeping in Xero, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation.
• Prepare management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow).
• Build and maintain cash-flow and revenue forecasts.
• Coordinate budgeting and re-forecast processes.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles.
• Liaise with external accountants for compliance.
• Implement financial controls and policies.
• Support strategic projects and pricing analysis.
• Mentor and develop the finance admin assistant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency with Xero and cloud accounting tools.
• Ability to produce accurate management reports under tight timelines.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Understanding of cash-flow management and budgeting techniques.
• Attention to detail and ability to communicate insights.
• Comfortable in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.
• High ethical standards and proactive mindset.
