Finance Controller - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Finance Controller to build and manage the financial control infrastructure of our business, focusing on compliance and reporting.

In Short

• Design and maintain internal financial controls.
• Manage Philippines statutory compliance and payroll oversight.
• Collaborate with external UK accountant for compliance obligations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Lead monthly financial close and reporting.
• Maintain cash flow forecasts and banking reconciliations.
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Communicate financial insights to the leadership team.
• Work in a fully remote environment based in Metro Manila.

Requirements

• 5+ years in finance controller or senior accountant role.
• Philippines CPA qualification required.
• Deep knowledge of Philippines statutory requirements.
• Experience with payroll providers and financial controls.
• Exposure to UK operations is a plus.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and IFRS/PFRS principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software like Xero or QuickBooks.
• Detail-oriented and self-directed.
• Clear communicator and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• High integrity and trustworthiness in financial matters.
