Finance Controller - Remote

Overview

As a Finance Controller at Typeform, you’ll be at the heart of our accounting and controlling operations — ensuring that the fundamentals run flawlessly while helping us level up how we work.

In Short

• Own and execute core accounting and controlling processes, including month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Partner closely with the VP of Accounting & Controlling, providing hands-on support across day-to-day operations and key initiatives.
• Act as a reliable right-hand in ensuring continuity, accuracy, and consistency across all accounting activities.
• Take full ownership of selected processes, reducing dependency risks and strengthening operational resilience.
• Support audit preparation and execution, working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Help improve and document financial processes, controls, and workflows.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline, automate, and scale accounting operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, and other teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Step in where needed to support the broader accounting and controlling agenda.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting, controlling, or auditing within a fast paced technology environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS preferred).
• Proven experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• A hands-on mindset with the ability to operate both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
