In Short

• Lead the accounting function across a group of related personal, investment, and operating entities.
• Manage a small team of bookkeepers.
• Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple entities.
• Ensure consistent accounting policies and documentation across entities.
• Track and reconcile cash across numerous accounts.
• Lead month-end close and prepare financial reporting.
• Coordinate with CPAs, tax preparers, and estate attorneys.
• Design and maintain accounting infrastructure and workflows.
• 7+ years of experience in accounting or Controller-level roles required.
• Deep technical accounting knowledge and strong QuickBooks experience.

Requirements

• Prior experience managing bookkeepers or accounting teams.
• Family office, private investment, or real estate experience preferred.
• Familiarity with trusts and estate structures is desirable.
• Excellent reviewer mindset and attention to detail.
• High level of discretion and professionalism.
• Strong judgment and comfort operating with ambiguity.
