Finance Controller - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead multiple client engagements, deliver timely and accurate financial information, and serve as a strategic partner to CEOs and executive teams for one of our clients.

In Short

• Own and manage monthly close for multiple clients.
• Prepare financial statements under U.S. GAAP or other required standards.
• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable.
• Monitor cash, burn rate, and liquidity across clients.
• Build annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Implement and optimize accounting/ERP systems.
• Oversee compliance activities and coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Act as a finance partner to founders and leaders.
• Deliver accurate work on time and communicate clearly.
• Maintain and reconcile cap tables and equity records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Extensive hands-on accounting experience; multi-entity or multi-client preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Prior public accounting or audit exposure.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High professionalism and ownership mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a remote U.S. environment.
