Overview

Fisch Group is seeking an experienced Family Office Controller to lead the accounting function across a group of related personal, investment, and operating entities, overseeing bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting while managing a small team.

• Lead the accounting function across family office entities.
• Manage and oversee bookkeepers.
• Ensure consistent accounting policies and documentation.
• Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple entities.
• Review general ledgers and maintain clean books in QuickBooks.
• Track and reconcile cash across bank accounts.
• Lead month-end close and prepare financial reporting.
• Coordinate with CPAs, tax preparers, and estate attorneys.
• Design and maintain accounting infrastructure and workflows.
• 7+ years of experience in accounting or Controller-level roles required.

Requirements

• 7+ years of accounting or Controller experience.
• Prior experience managing accounting teams.
• Experience in family office or private investment preferred.
• Familiarity with trusts and estate structures desirable.
• Strong QuickBooks experience required.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High level of discretion and professionalism.
• Strong judgment and comfort with ambiguity.
