In Short

• Independent consulting for various business areas in national and international commercial and contract law.
• Creation, review, evaluation, and negotiation of contracts and legal documents.
• Advising departments on all legally relevant issues in the day-to-day business of the Legal Group Commercial.
• Legal analysis and design of processes to safeguard business opportunities and minimize risks.
• Proactive legal advice and support for decision-makers in implementing legal requirements.
• Legal support for interdisciplinary projects, including complex automotive projects.
• Conducting training for employees on legal topics.
• Representing the interests of business areas in contract negotiations.
• Selection and management of external lawyers and notaries.

Requirements

• Successful completion of law studies and the second state examination, preferably with distinction.
• Ideally, first professional experience in commercial law in a law firm or legal department of an industrial company.
• In-depth understanding of economic and technical contexts.
• Hands-on mentality and ability to react quickly to events.
• Proficient in MS Office and openness to Legal Tech.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English, with additional language skills desirable.
• High degree of intercultural competence.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
